Christmas Clothes Donation to Martin House
We donated 15 bags of clothes to Martin House for Christmas!
This week, our team donated 15 large bags of clothes to Martin House Children’s Hospice, a charity that provides care and support to children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families.
The donation was made as part of our ongoing commitment to giving back to the community. The team came together to collect a variety of used and new clothing items, ranging from winter coats to everyday essentials.
Martin House, based in Boston Spa, provides invaluable care to families across West, North, and East Yorkshire. Donations like this help the charity raise funds through their network of retail shops, enabling them to continue offering vital services such as respite care, symptom management, and end-of-life support.
Kelly from Martin House also expressed appreciation for the donation:
“We are incredibly thankful to Training at Work Group for their generosity. Donations like these help us raise essential funds, ensuring we can continue to provide care and support to families when they need it most. Every item donated truly makes a difference.”
The clothing donation is part of a wider push by Training at Work Group to encourage community engagement among its staff and inspire others to contribute to local charitable efforts.
General Manager Rob said:
“Martin House is a wonderful charity close to our hearts here at TAWG. We have done a few different fundraisers for them, and plan more in 2025”.
