Our latest Defib donation is to XS Taekwon-do
As part of our Defibrillator Initiative, we’re thrilled to support XS Taekwon-do in Cumbernauld, Glasgow. This fantastic martial arts club is a place where students train, build confidence, and become part of the vibrant Taekwon-do community.
At Training at Work Group, we believe that having access to life-saving equipment, like an Automated External Defibrillator (AED), can make all the difference in an emergency. By donating AEDs to clubs and organisations that bring people together, we aim to ensure that everyone feels safe, knowing that life-saving support is readily available.
In the event of a cardiac emergency, quick access to an AED can dramatically improve the chances of survival. Having an AED on-site means that if something happens, there is a clear and immediate way to respond, which can bring peace of mind to members and staff alike. We’re proud to play a part in making the environment at XS Taekwon-do safer for all its members and visitors.
Robbie at XS Taekwon-do shared:
“As a non-profit organisation, we rely on donations and external funding, so receiving the Semi-automatic 500p Defibrillator from the TAWG team was an unexpected yet deeply appreciated gift. While we hope it never has to be used, having this life-saving equipment readily available offers invaluable peace of mind to our students and the broader community.
From all of us at XS Taekwon-do – thank you”
Safety should always come first, and with an AED available at the club, everyone can feel confident knowing they’re training in a place where their well-being is a top priority.
