We Donated a Defibrillator to Blantyre Celtic YFC!
We’re over the moon to donate a defibrillator to Blantyre Celtic Community YFC! 💙⚽
This fantastic club is at the heart of its community, giving young players a place to develop their skills, build confidence, and enjoy the game they love. Now, with a life-saving AED on-site, they have an extra layer of protection for their players, coaches, and supporters.
At Training at Work Group, we believe that defibrillators should be accessible in as many community spaces as possible. That’s why we created this initiative—to provide life-saving equipment to clubs and organisations that bring people together. In an emergency, having an AED nearby can make all the difference.
Don from Blantyre Celtic Community YFC shared just how much this donation means to club:
“From all at Blantyre Celtic Community YFC, I would like to thank Ela from Training at Work for the very kind donation of a SAM 500 defibrillator. As a charity, we are reliant on donations, and this was on our funding list, but as we have other items to prioritise—i.e., match and training kits, footballs, pitches, etc.—this was lower down. When we received the email asking for our details, it was a dream come true, and this will be a major benefit to our club, coaches, players, and parents/guardians. We now know that we have this very important piece of equipment, and should the need arise, we will be in a position to provide lifesaving help. Once again, thank you from all at Blantyre Celtic Community YFC.”
Football is more than just a game—it’s a place where friendships are formed, skills are developed, and communities come together. We’re so happy that Blantyre Celtic was nominated and that we could help them make their club even safer. A huge thank you to them for the amazing work they do!
