Minstead Trust Portsmouth AED donation
We recently donated an AED to Becky and the Minstead Trust Portsmouth Day Opportunities team.
Minstead Trust supports over 320 people with learning disabilities. They empower people to develop skills that allow them to gain greater independence and lead fulfilled lives. Their aim is to remove barriers to ensure people with learning disabilities aren’t just supported by the community – they’re supported to make profound contributions to it.
“We have been looking at purchasing a defibrillator for a while now but it is a big expense and we haven’t had the budget for it. The donation of the defibrillator from TAWG has given us more confidence supporting people with a variety of health needs and, although we hope we never have to use it, my staff feel better assured now that there is another action we can take to save someone’s life while we wait for the ambulance.”
