We Donated a Defibrillator to FCStrikerz!
We have donated a Defibrillator to the Strikerz Football Academy in Bolton!
At Training at Work Group, our passion for supporting communities with life-saving equipment has led us to create a dedicated initiative to equip worthy causes with essential defibrillators, ensuring safety for their community. This crucial piece of equipment will be of great help and reassurance for any sports club, especially those with young athletes.
In the event of an emergency, having one close by could mean the difference between life and death.
Sarah from FC Strikerz shared her thoughts on what this donation means for the club:
“Here at the Stingerz, we wanted to raise funds for a defibrillator. We’re only a small club, but due to my disabilities, I wanted to have one closer—not just for us, but for other clubs too—to help save more lives.
When we first received an email with the offer, I couldn’t believe it. I replied, not expecting much, but then I was asked for our address—and before we knew it, the defibrillator arrived!
It means so much to our club that you believed in us and are helping save so many young children’s lives, as well as the families cheering on the sidelines. Without you, it could have taken months to raise the full amount.
So from the bottom of my heart, and from ALL THE STINGERZ, thank you so much, TAWG!”
FC Strikerz is a football academy dedicated to developing young players’ skills, and creating a fun and supportive environment for them to build their confidence. They provide a fantastic space for children to thrive both on and off the pitch.
